Langlade
Time slows down when you arrive in Langlade. Everything seems to take a little bit longer, but no one seems to be inconvenienced by it. The natural quietness brings forth the most subtle of sounds: leaves rustling in the trees, water gently lapping at the shore, or the haunting call of a loon. The peace and quiet which draws so many to Langlade has also en element of intangible sadness or melancholy in it. This melancholy should be embraced, and not avoided. It's all part of Langlade's charm. Grade 2
